GOLEM Municipality
« GOLEM Municipality » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner city »
Golem municipality is part of the district of Tirana. It was established on 1 October 1992. The municipality is located near the city of Durres, which is the largest coastal city in Albania , 15 km from the biggest sea port in Albania and 30 kilometers from the capital (Tirana). Its principal industries are agriculture and tourism.
