« European Institute for professional reconversion of women » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner association »
Professional reconversion of women is about promoting the skills and abilities acquired in one EU Member State to be recognized in an other. It must meet the challenges of globalization and transform the EU into a truly modern and competitive economy, with respect to the freedom of movement of knowledge. This is the "fifth freedom", it implies the removal of barriers to cross-border mobility of women in Europe and gives them the best chance to successful carreer, also in other European countries.
Is there a market for permanent or enduring expatriation? Can one speak about European women being active at 30 or 40 years of professional reconversion?
