This opening session was more participative than ever. We have gathered, for one afternoon citizens who have already participated in a participatory process in their municipality, communal staff working in the field of citizen participation and elected officials, in order to discuss good practices of citizen participation but also to answer the question: "What are the main recommendations for successful citizen participation at the municipal level?"
