Youth in all policies at the local level

Three days of activities with more than 300 participants, and six events, were dedicated to the mainstreaming youth in all policies at local level. The first day was organised in Belgrade, by the SCTM and ALDA as a part of the project LADDER (Local Authorities as Drivers for Development Education and Raising Awareness). The project focuses on activities of local government and civil society in implementation of EU policies and practice and localization of Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDG). The Conference was aimed at three topics: Participation of youth at local level in the light of SDGs, EU and CoE youth policies in practice and Youth in SDGs and good practices workshops (on topics such as education, public health, culture, etc.). On the following days, representatives participated in the events organised in Sremski Karlovci (workshops with youth on the topic of Youth programmes for environmental protection and cultural heritage, accompanied by the theatre play “Better World” by Progetarte Italia) and Zrenjanin (open dialogue on the topic Youth representation in federal, local and pupils’ parliaments).
