« National Association of Portugese Municipalities » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner association »
'Associação Nacional de Municípios Portugaises' (ANMP) was created in 1985 and represents in total 308 municipalities and communes, located in the mainland of Portugal, as well as the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira. Its general aim is to promote, defend and represent the interests of Portugese local authorities.
