Valongo
« Valongo » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner city »
Located along the northern coast of Portugal and included in the metropolitan area of ??Porto (metropolitan area of ??Porto), the municipality of Valongo offers diverse landscapes, ancient culture, delicious food and a rich history.
Its area of ??75, 12 km2 allows it to coexist with the cities of Alfena, Ermesinde and Valongo and the villages of Campo and Sobrado coexist.
Valongo welcomes throughout the year festivals and fairs, aims at reviving local identity marks.
