RESITA

Re?i?a City, the residence of the Cara?-Severin county, is situated in south-west of Romania, in the north-western part of the county on the middle flow of the river  Bârzava, in the geographical area of an astonishing picturesque and attractive touristic objectives. Re?i?a is the oldest metallurgic center of Romania and one of the most important industrial citadels from the south –eastern Europe.
The ethnic diversity which enters in the structure of the Resita population haven’t brought interethnic tensions, the local cohabitants have lived in harmony with the majority population: Romanians, Germans, Hungarians, Serbs, Croats, Ukrainians, Slovacs, Bulgarians etc.
From this point of view, our city is a good example of “Unity in Diversity”, the principle that stands in the formation of European Community.
