NOVI BECEJ

The Municipality of Novi Becej is situated in the northeast of the Province of Vojvodina, and the northwest of Banat. In addition to town of Novi Becej, there are three other settlements, Novo Milosevo, Bocar and Kumane. Novi Becej Municipality is a tolerant multiethnic environment, recognized for its tourism attractions and quality home-made cuisine, whose foundations lie in developed agricultural production and processing industry, as well as well-preserved natural environment. Citizens, as one of the greatest resources of this municipality, can actively participate in the public life of their community in various ways: through numerous associations, non-governmental organizations and citizens’ groups and by contacting elected local government representatives via electronic communication tools, ‘’48-hour system’’service, call-centers, etc.
