The Flag of Honour

Kar??yaka municipality has been awarded with “The Flag of Honour” by the Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development Committee of the Council of Europe as a result of the social, cultural and sportive activities carried out locally with the participation of international projects, positive relations with twin cities, memberships with international institutions and organisations and participatory democracy since 2015. The ceremony was held at Kar??yaka Bostanl? Fine Arts and Open Air Museum and “The Flag of Honour” was handed over to Kar??yaka by Valeriu Ghiletchi, Vice President of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Approximately 1.000 people, including representatives of civil society organisations, citizens, youth, associations, public institutions and organisations, international guests, embassies, consulate general and mayors of twin cities have participated in the ceremony.
