Ivano-Frankivsk is the city of European economic prospects, democratic beliefs, fine youth initiatives and pragmatic business reforms. Ivano-Frankivsk is the city that successfully implements international projects, funded by EU, UNDP, USAID, etc. Its ‘Triumph Trophy’ for instance, the annual award for high economic achievements, was announced to be the best practice of local government by the Council of Europe.

Furthermore, a number of municipal educational institutions and NGOs have networked with the like establishments of Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. Nowadays, they co-implement a lot of transnational cultural, educational, and sports programs.

Our Municipality pays close attention to the cooperation with youth. In the framework of Youth and Government Project, a youth council has-been established; international meetings, workshops, exchange visits, forums, and internships are planned and organised. Ivano-Frankivsk is home to European school clubs, Center for Polish Culture and European Dialogue, and the EU Information Center. At this center, the youth can meet with outstanding diplomats, artists, and world-known scientists. They discover European culture, study democratic values, and integrate with Europeans.
