« Association 'Palo 5 Stelle' » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner association »
The association " Palo 5 Stelle", aims at promoting active citizenship, and encouraging the involvement of citizens of Palo del Colle in public decision-making – using methods of participatory democracy, inspired by the principles of honesty, legality, ethics, secularism, competence and transparency. Some of the activities carried out by the association are: information campaigns on public services, promotion of open meetings between citizens and members of the Italian Parliament.
