?unicipality of Surdulica

The municipality of Surdulica is located in the southeastern part of Serbia, within the P?inja region. It borders the municipality of Crna Trava in the north, the municipality of Vladi?in Han in the west, the municipalities of Vranje and Bosilegrad in the south, and the Republic of Bulgaria in the east in length of 42 km. In the immediate vicinity is border crossing Strezimirovci. The distance of Surdulica municipality from Niš (Serbia) is 100 km, from Belgrade (Serbia) is 327 km, from Skoplje (Macedonia)130 km and from Sofia (Bulgaria) is 143 km. Surdulica is located in field of Masurica, in the basins of rivers Vrla and Gornja Jerna and Boži?ka river, and it also covers a part of the Vlasina plateau. It is surrounded by high mountains Vardenik (1875 m) and ?emernik (1638 m). The road between these mountains reaches Vlasina lake on altitude of 1230 meters. This lake is the highest and longest arteficial lake in Serbia with characteristics floating islands covered with gran areas and forests. Vlasina is the landscape of outstanding features. Flora and fauna of the lake and entire surrounding Vlasina region are rich and include several endemic species. Government of Serbia in 2006. protected Vlasina region as a nature preserve of special interest at category I in term of international, national and exceptional importance. The municipality of Surdulica covers 628 km2 at an altitude of 355 to 1876 meters with 41 settements, 39 cadastral municipalities, 25 local communities and 11 local offices. In 2019. there were 18524 inhabitants in the municipality of Surdulica. Ethnic composition includes Serbs, Romani, Bulgarians, Macedonians and others. There are two primary school in the town of Surdulica- "Vuk Karadži?" and "Jovan Jovanovi? Zmaj", several primary schools in the villages around the town and three secondary schools: High school "Svetozar Markovi?", "Josif Pan?i?" Agriculture school and technical school "Nikola Tesla".

City Municipality of Stari grad

The City municipality of Stari grad represents the strict center and heart of Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia. Precisely because of its central position in the city, it represents the cultural-historical, architectural and economic center of Belgrade, and best reflects the millennial history of the creation, growth and development of Belgrade. The name of the Old Town reflects the historical place and the role of the old city center from where Belgrade further developed. The current municipality was created and took its current name in 1957 by merging the municipalities of Stari grad, Skadarlije and Terazije. The day of the municipality is the Feast of the Flower, which marks the entry of Christ into Jerusalem and is celebrated on the last week before Easter. The total area of ??the municipality is about 650 ha, of which about 435 ha is a land and about 215 ha is water area. According to the latest data from 2019, the total number of inhabitants in the municipality of Stari grad is 44613, with a population density of 8923 per km2. Although its area is far smaller than the other 16 urban and suburban municipalities of the city of Belgrade, the Old Town is the richest in cultural and historical content. Only on the territory of the municipality of Stari grad there are 8 spatial cultural and historical units.

City municipality of Vracar, Belgrade

Municipality of Vracar is one out of 17 municipalities of City of Belgrade. The Municipality of Vracar covers an area of 292 hectares, which is inhabited by a population of 69,680. It is the smallest municipality in Serbia, but the most densely populated. Vracar municipality, one of the three central municipalities of Belgrade,has significant touristic potential: Church of Saint Sava, Public library of Serbia, Nikola Tesla museum, Belgrade drama theater, etc.

City of Kragujevac

Kragujevac is located in the central part of the Republic of Serbia, 140 kilometers south from capitol Belgrade. Kragujevac, as the largest city in the region of Sumadija with its approximately 293.398 inhabitants, is the region's administrative, industrial, cultural, educational and health hub, which alone has 179.417 citizens by records made in census in year 2011. The region covers the area of 835 square kilometers and consists of 57 settlements and 78 local communities. There are around 1.500 large, middle and small companies doing business here, including many large international companies such as Fiat Chrisler Automobiles, Johnson Controls, SIGIT, Meggle, TPV, Scolz, Viator Vector, Rapp Marine, Hodlmayer, etc. Ten important cultural institutions of regional, and some of national significance, cherishing theatrical, fine arts, folklore, and industrial heritage, some of them continuing over one century old tradition, are situated in Kragujevac. Numerous cultural festivals and events are taking place annually and biennially, presenting stage performances for adults, high school students and children alike, followed by classic, choir and popular music festivals, as well as antiwar cartoons salon. The University of Kragujevac is composed of 11 faculties. This is the city of rich history and cultural heritage. In the following 2018 it is going to celebrate 200 anniversary since it was proclaimed the first capitol of the modern Serbian state. Consequently, it was the place where the first modern constitution was adopted and the most important judicial, cultural, educational, health care and industrial institutions were founded. It was already in the 19th century that exchange of knowledge, ideas, experiences and craftsmanship with foreigners in our city proved the importance of international cooperation in all mentioned spheres of society, thus, continuing down this path there is great interest to enhance this kind of activities.

City of Niš

Niš is considered to be the crossroads of East and West and thanks to its geostrategic position it has always been the meeting point of different nations, different ideas, cultures and traditions which provided the city with a great cultural legacy. Its heritage is the result of a long and turbulent city history and influences of different cultures. Niš, today, is economic, industrial, regional, administrative, educational, health, cultural and sports center of the region of Southeastern Serbia. The population of 300 000 inhabitants makes the City of Niš the third biggest city in the Republic of Serbia. The city territory of 600 km2 is divided into five municipalities. The residents and visitors alike are blessed with great cultural and entertainment opportunities. The cultural life of Niš is shaped by the numerous institutions and numerous festivals and cultural events can make anyone’s experience of Niš complete whether we are talking about jazz music, national film, choral performances. Niš has become recognizable as new destination on the map of extreme sports fan and sportsmen. The exquisite natural attractions of the surrounding mountains and gorges are ideal for extreme sports. As a dynamic medium sized city Niš offers its inhabitants and visitors much of what big city life has, but without the urban chaos and without diminishing the quality of life.

City of Sombor

City of Sombor is located in the West Backa region of the Republic of Serbia. Its administrative area spreads over 1.216 km² and it counts 85.903 inhabitants. According to "Transparency Serbia", City of Sombor is the second most transparent city in Serbia in 2021. Good practices related to participation of citizens in the decision-making process include participatory budgeting, public discussions, online options for reporting social issues, and a possibility of having a meeting with the Mayor on monthly basis.

City of Užice

Užice is a city and the administrative centre of the Zlatibor District in western Serbia. It is located on the banks of the river Detinja. According to the 2011 census, the city has in itself a population of 59,747. The City municipality of Užice is one of two city municipalities (with the City municipality of Sevojno) which constitute the City of Užice. According to the 2011 census results, the municipality has 70,939 inhabitants.

Municipality Gadžin Han

The municipality of Gadžin Han belongs to the Nišava District in Serbia. To the north the municipality borders Bela Palanka municipality and the City of Niš, to the south-east it borders Babušnica municipality, while to the south Gadžin Han borders Vlasotince and Leskovac municipalities, and to the west Boljevac municipality. Municipality covers the area of 325 km2 (18.201 ha) is agricultural land, and 10.610 ha forests. According to the census from 2011 there were 8.389 inhabitants, and the median age was 52,5 years. The area of Gadžin Han municipality pertains to the South-eastern Serbia, which is situated in the central part of the Balkan peninsula. The area of Gadžin Han lies between mountains Suva planina, Babi?ka gora and Seli?evica and mainly coincides with the territory of Gadžin Han municipality. With its territory Gadžin Han municipality extends out to Pomoravlje, the South Morava River and Niš-Skoplje highway, i.e. Corridor 10. Three regional road networks II A-225 and II A-224 go through the municipal territory. Through road II A-225 Gadžin Han is connected to the Highway – 22 km.

Municipality of Svrljig

The area of the municipality of Svrljig covers the central part of the Carpathian-Balkan mountain range in eastern Serbia. The area that administratively belongs to it approximately coincides with the upper and part of the middle basin of Svrljiški Timok. It covers the Svrljig valley with the surrounding mountain elevations: the mountain range of the Svrljig mountains (Zeleni vrh 1334m) in the south, the branch of Paješki kamen (1074m) in the east, Tresibaba (786m), in the north and the mountain massif Kurila (Kalafat 839m) and its branches in the west. It is bounded on the northwest by the Golak area, on the north by the Knjaževac valley, on the east by the Zaglavak area, on the southeast by the Belopalanka valley, on the south by the Belopalanka valley, and then on the Si?eva?ka gorge area, Niš and Aleksinac valley, on the south and southwest. The area of the municipality is 497 km², and it is inhabited by one city central settlement with 38 villages. Opština Blace

The area of ??Blace is a smaller municipality of Kopaonik (306 km²), in which there are 40 settlements. It is located in the Toplica valley, on the eastern slopes of Kopaonik and the southwestern slopes of Jastrebac, covering the northwestern part of the Toplica basin, which is connected to the Rasina valley by the Jankova gorge, ie the Kruševac basin. According to the results of the 2011 census, there are 11,686 inhabitants on the territory of the municipality of Blace, of which 5,261 live in Blace itself, and 6,607 in the surrounding villages. Compared to the 2002 census, there were 2,073 fewer inhabitants, and compared to 1991, the population decreased by 3,463.

The city of Vranje

The city of Vranje is located in southern Serbia, in the central part of the Pcinja district. It borders with 5 municipalities of Pcinja district - in the north with the municipalities of Vladi?in Han and Surdulica, in the east with the municipality of Bosilegrad, in the south with the municipalities of Bujanovac and Trgovište, and in the northwestern part with 3 municipalities of the southern Serbian province of Kosovo, Kosovska Kamenica, Novo Brdo and Gjilan.The territory of the city of Vranje covers an area of 860 km², and consists of a total of 105 settlements, urban settlements Vranje and Vranjska Banja and 103 rural settlements organized in 32 local communities. Vranjska Banja has the status of a City Municipality. According to the 2011 census, the number of residents in the city is 83,524 inhabitants. The center of the city is the town of Vranje. The city is located in the northwestern part of the Vrana basin, on the left bank of the South Morava. It is located in at the foot of Pja?kovica (1231m), Krstilovica (1154m) and the State (731m) and represents economic, administrative, health, educational and cultural center of Pcinjski district.
