Idées Nouvelles Europe

Idées Nouvelles Europe is a non-profit association created in 1996, offering organisational backup to persons active in Europe’s education and training sector, particularly inspectors, teachers, educational counsellors, activity leaders, trainers, pupils’ parents and the young people themselves.

INE is an incubator for any educational or cultural project whose educational value and intrinsic “idea” prove innovative and contribute to:

• promotion of culture and education as factors in spreading “good” and as fundamentally “good” elements for all,
• raising people’s standard of individual or collective training and knowledge,
• raising the standard of scholarship and learning,
• fostering general currency of educational practices and of multimedia educational services,
• strengthening the European dimension of education thanks to the tools of the information society, making the most of cultural and linguistic diversities.

Our interest and our development strategy also lie in the trust which our association has earned from Community bodies as consultant for missions of expert appraisal, analysis and study, and also as a key partner to further European construction.

For these purposes we turn to account and develop ideas which we consider “good and new”, on each occasion giving them the full European breadth which they deserve and the necessary funding for them to be viable and in circulation. The European Commission’s calls for proposals afford the possibility for this funding, and allow many educational projects to be carried out.

We therefore stress the experimental approach and the systematic educational and cultural orientation of our European projects.
