Södermöre municipal district is a rural part of Kalmar municipality. Kalmar is a city in Småland in the south-east of Sweden, situated by the Baltic Sea.

- We have a "Citizens panel" where they get information from the board of politicians. They also get questions that the politicians want their opinion in.
- The meeting with the board of politicians is always open for the public.
