Primary School Visits to the Town Hall
Town Hall, Newbury

School Groups (ages 10 to 11) visit the Town Hall and are met in the Council Chamber by the Mayor and senior councillors, who give them a presentation on the roles and functions of the Town Council and how they can get involved. This is followed by a treasure hunt in the Town Hall. The children are then allowed to look at the Council regalia and see our maces and other valuables.
