Erasmus+ and Volunteering Projects Informative Meeting

Edremit Municipality, as accredited organisation for Volunteering and Erasmus + projects, will joined the Erasmusdays initiative with an Information meeting addressed to the students of the Balikesir University, at the Edremit Vocational High School. This activity was meant to be a step forward to spread even more the Erasmus+ program and the principles of Volunteering projects. As the ELDW 2018 main theme is “Citizen Participation, consultation and commitment: for a thriving local democracy” with a special focus on participation of children and young people, we think that this event is a very an important occasion to acquaint youngsters of Edremit with youth policies of the European Union and our Municipality. The two employers of our Municipality which work about Erasmus+ projects and Volunteering Projects, explained to the participants the different opportunities to make amazing experiences abroad as citizens and volunteers. We also fostered their interest in other European Commission programs, strengthening their need to improve their English language and communication abilities.
