In 2019, Mayor of Ahmetbey, together with young people from Ahmetbey city, visited the Turkey Republic Union of Municipalities of Central Anatolia headquarters, one of the ELDW partners, in Ankara, and held various meetings. At this meeting, it was decided to increase cooperation in the activities to be held in 2020. In the meeting held in Antalya, hosted by the Union of Municipalities of Central Anatolia in October 2020 and attended by nearly 200 local administrators, a session "encouraging citizen participation, strengthening trust in elected people and institutions" meeting was held.
