Children's participation in local governance

The Mayor will hold a meeting in the town hall for primary and secondary school pupils, members of the Children's Council, with presentations on local democracy and local participation. The aim of this meeting is to encourage children to participate in local governance and to share their ideas. The meeting will be open to the local and national media.
On 11 October 2017, a meeting was held with the children in the municipal assembly hall and information was provided about The European Democracy Week and opinions were received.
