Due to the European Local Democracy Week gift books distribution was held with the logo of the European Local Democracy Week. Despite the important developments in the economic, social and political fields in our country, we still have problems regarding the importance of reading books, newspapers and magazines. The only people who will solve this problem will be young people who are just reading books. We will continue to increase the importance for these activities so that our country and our province will not be left behind in these changes and developments that occur rapidly in the world. For this purpose we organized as Municipality of K?rklareli event with the name ”Poetry recitations and book distribution” within the scope of European Local Democracy Week. We think the beginning of democracy is here. The books are the radiant face of light and civilization. As Municipality of K?rklareli, for the purpose of raising this consciousness and reaching the level of civilized states; we distributed 10,000 books to our people free of charge.
