This activity will be organized within the European Local Democracy Week and with the support of the European Union-funded Project "Municipalities for Europe". This annual European event, now a tradition by the Municipality of Kamez since 2008, is organized to promote and enhance democratic participation at the local level. It is a week of awareness and shows the link between local government with citizens, the partnership with different institutions and organizations. Also, this year Kamez Municipality has been admitted to the Pan-European ELDW initiative "12-Star City" by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
