In celebration of European Local Democracy Week we want to highlight the people concerned by local democracies! We asked a bunch of citizens to take a picture of themselves with a piece of paper that states the answer to the following question:
"Why do you care about local democracy?"
The pictures were then published in the social networks.
Being involved with democracy includes everything from voting, political movements, party membership, working as a civil servant, and much more.
