Associativism Q&A (Sessão de Associativismo)

This session was designed to help high school students in the matters of forming a student’s association in their school. The Head of Citizenship and Youth delivered this session, and explained to the students what was asked of them to do, in order to form a list. This opportunity was taken advantage by the students, who in return used the session to pose questions regarding possible plans of action and activities they could implement, in a winning scenario case. It was also discussed their presence in the Youth Municipal Council as a student’s association and their role in there, and how the Municipality incites this particular type of participation. The matter of participation in decision-making processes and its importance was then approached, and explained the consequences of a community’s lethargy and absence of these same processes.
