The decision to participate in the ELDW was taken by common agreement by the Buca City Council. Throughout the year, the municipality will organise events to promote democratic participation at the local level. Our aim is to develop a participatory culture by including citizens in community life and local politics. Activities will be organised to increase the quality and intensity of citizens' participation in local issues and knowledge. In order to increase citizens' confidence in elected representatives and institutions, the promotion of mutual dialogue between citizens will also be supported through activities.
