Macadam MixTalent WebWorkshop and Foundation

Macadam MixTalent Foundation aims to give children and young people affected by illness or living in hospitals or homebound around Europe and beyond, the opportunity to get to know other people, to get in contact with each other, to develop their personalities together, despite the limits of their health conditions. These children and young people stay in contact with their peers over the internet, develop their talents together and share their visions, feelings and ideas. Teachers from different countries facilitate this process and make use of the web workshop platform initiated by Greet Meesen in Diemen (Netherlands) to develop the Foundation's projects. Several mayors play important roles in supporting and developing this network which is an efficient and unique democratic tool.
