Commune of Berchem-Sainte-Agathe

Berchem-Sainte-Agathe is one of the smallest municipalities in the north-west of the Brussels region. It covers an area of 295 hectares and has just over 25,000 inhabitants. The rural character that the municipality has been able to preserve over the centuries makes it a real "village in the city", a village in which conviviality is an essential part of everyday life. The commune is renowned for having an enormous amount of green space in relation to its surface area. Today, despite being an integral part of the European capital, Berchem-Sainte-Agathe is a reflection of the quiet green village where everyone shares the Berchem space in an eternal climate of savoir vivre.
