Eastern European Center of Multi-party Democracy (EECMD) works to increase the capacity of political actors, to enlarge political and electoral playing field and to enhance democratic political culture.
It is done through bilateral support programs to political parties. EECMD also sets out to support reform minded political actors in the Ukrainian parliament and local councils after elections.
EECMD has established a regional educational program which calls Democracy School. It functions in 5 regions in Ukraine (Kyiv, Dnirpo, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava), where citizens can learn how to build the democracy within their communities.
