Aran Humanitarian Regional Development Public Union began its activities in May of 2001 in the Central Azerbaijan Republic (Aghdam, Aghjabedi, Terter, Barda,Yevlakh and Mingachevir and Ganja towns) where the majority of IDPs and refugees are situated. The organization was registered by the Justice Ministry of Azerbaijan Republic in August 2003.
