Our Native Flora and Fauna in Change

Presentation and Guided Walk The effects of climate change are noticeably disrupting our native ecosystem. But what is the situation like for our flora and fauna here in Saxony? Are species populations coming under pressure from heat waves, storms and human intervention, or have creatures adapted to the changed conditions? Are there perhaps even profiteers of the changed conditions? And how can native wildlife be supported through the seasons? Interested parties can learn about these questions and more during an on-site guided tour just in time for the red deer's rut. The tour is geared toward adults who, with luck, will be able to hear the deer roar in the evening. This event is a cooperation between the Zoo Chemnitz, Wildlife Park Oberrabenstein and the Chemnitz Adult Education Center
