CIDEFE stands for the Centre for Information, Documentation, Study and Training of Elected Representatives.

With over 32 years of experience, CIDEFE is certified for the training of local officials. The aim is to promote efficiency through training, informing and supporting local politicians in their functions regarding their elective office.

CIDEFE also trains all the actors of local governments: personal, associations, foundations, unions, researchers, and citizens.

CIDEFE's approach is innovative, supportive and creative and addresses various themes such as human rights, sustainable development and solidarity through participatory democracy methods.

The CIDEFE has a national headquarters and sixty local offices, departmental and regional.

CIDEFE promotes decentralised cooperation through a bottom-up approach ans is involved in european projects.
