A traditional "Magusto" celebration with historical reenactments and traditional folk singing.
The "Magusto" is a popular celebration, with regional traditions influencing the way it is observed. Groups of friends and families gather around a bonfire to roast chestnuts, drink jeropiga, água-pé, or young wine, play games, smear each other with ashes, and sing traditional songs.
