The short course on local citizenship is organised by Professor António Cândido de Oliveira in cooperation with the Association for the Study of Regional and Local Law. Taking as its starting point the Short Manual on Local Citizenship, a book published by the Municipality of Valongo, the Short Course is aimed at secondary school students and is an invitation to reflect on issues related to Democracy and the Rule of Law.
