The Green School Project, which is carried out in 64 primary and secondary schools across Beykoz, includes separation of waste at source and combating climate change. The waste separated consists of packaging, electronics, waste batteries, vegetable waste oil, and biodegradable waste. In addition, compost training was provided in 35 schools.
The students compost biodegradable waste with the special machine in their schools.
A composting event was held at Beykoz Halide Edip Primary School and students organized recycling workshops, and planting activities.
