The awareness event is organized by Beykoz Municipality and Beykoz City Council Youth Assembly in order to contribute to a clean and sustainable environment and to draw attention to the damage caused by packaging waste to the environment.
The main purpose of the project is to give up disposable plastic and cardboard cups and draw attention to the prevention of waste.
The main motto of the event is "Not 1 Paper Cup, but 1 Cup of Coffee Has a Memory"; so under the flagship of this motto, youths serve the participants coffee with mugs. Another important step of the event is that an exhibition about different types of waste and their dissolution time in nature.
