Capacity Building of Municipalities for Low Emission and Climate Resistant Cities Project

As Seferihisar, Çi?li, Kemalpa?a and Buca Municipalities, we carried out the Project of Strengthening the Capacity of Municipalities for Low-Emission and Climate Resistant Cities in cooperation with Lund University Environment and Climate Research Center (CEC). Within the scope of this project, we held a Meeting of Presidents and committed to preparing four municipal climate action plans.
Within the scope of the project, a climate survey was also conducted in the digital environment. 413 people participated in the survey and 192 people who wanted to become “Climate Volunteers” were sent a thank you e-mail. Subsequently, we held the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) Management Meeting for unit managers to improve the institutional capacity against the climate crisis, and we held the Project Sharing Meeting in which other district municipalities also participated.
