As part of European Local Democracy Week, an annual pan-European event, Cascais City Council organised a visit to Murtal Primary School to discuss democracy with young people. The session took place today, 30 October, and was attended by José D'Almeida, Cascais City Council councillor, and Nuno Alves, president of the Carcavelos and Parede parish council. ‘It was a moment of sharing and interaction, where dialogue and learning reigned supreme,’ explained the parish council president. This meeting brought young people together with local authorities, bringing them closer to the reality of democracy.
