Child-Friendly Cities

Promoting and protecting children's rights, strengthening the support network and ensuring their active participation in society. These were the aims of the Children's Rights Forum held at the Cascais Cultural Centre today, 20/11, to mark International Children's Rights Day. ‘Cascais‘ DNA is to listen to children and young people and this time, as part of the Local Council for Children and Young People, we were listening to the youngest, who presented a series of ideas and solutions to the challenges they face on a daily basis that we can realise in the long term,’ said Carla Nunes Semedo, a local councillor.
