Several users of Abesa, the Alcabideche Social Welfare Association, were at the local parish council today, 28 November, for an interactive visit as part of Local Democracy Week. What is a parish? What is the role of Cascais City Council and what functions and services are available to citizens? These were some of the questions addressed in this initiative, which aims to create greater proximity and encourage the participation and involvement of these citizens in the democratic life of the municipality.
