Kadikoy Environment Festival

From 03/06/2022 to 05/06/2022
This year's theme of Kad?köy Environment Festival, which has been organized as part of World Environment Day events since 2017, is “Work for nature”. The festival, held on 03-05 June 2022, is the country's most comprehensive and largest environmental festival, with over 100,000 visitors. Our aim is to approach the problems of our country and the whole world, especially climate change, from different perspectives, to create solutions individually or as a community, and to present examples of ecological life. The program of the festival is created with a participatory approach. In the festival, where all non-governmental organizations, foundations and societies that work for nature take part, many activities such as workshops, panels, interviews, concerts, film screenings and theaters are held. At the 2022 Kad?köy Environment Festival, we will draw attention to the Climate Crisis due to the problems such as the pandemic, forest fires, floods, mucilage that we have experienced in recent years, which we can no longer escape, and that we can "fight against the Climate Crisis" together, how a sustainable and reliable future is possible, how a sustainable and reliable future is possible in the world. We aim to convey how we can reduce our footprint.
