Kontupiste encourages learning and creativity through the use of technology. Kontupiste provides the residents of Mellunkylä region with information and guidance in computing and cultural services. An open access media lab and the Internet terminals at Kontupiste may be used by anybody. Our professional staff will help customers to reach online information.

Kontupiste was first funded through European Urban II.  Nowadays activities are maintained by the City of Helsinki.
