Akhtala Municipality: Photo Contest: “My City from My Window”

Akhtala municipality organizes “My City from My Window” photo (selfie) contest in the framework of EU Sustainable Energy Week.
The participants should take selfies in their communities on the background of energy efficiency, “green” energy and energy saving technologies (e.g., solar water heaters, photovoltaic systems, etc.). Each photo (selfie) should be accompanied by a short comment on how the authors see the importance of clean energy technology, or product in the community development.
The events aim at raising public awareness of community members on energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. Besides, this contest has a contribution to the enhancement of citizen participation in community life, promotion of active citizenship.
