Union dialogue

Södermöre town hall
From 09/10/2017 to 09/10/2017
In Södermöre local trade unions will be invited to take part in a dialogue with local politicians and the headquarters staff. Firstly we will report on what the municipality has done since the last meeting with trade unions. Then we will focus on the main issues which we are currently working on. We will also make a few suggestions on future projects they may wish to participate in. Finally, the trade unions will be asked to inform us about their work and indicate what the municipality could do to assist them.

RESULT: The municipality first gave a report on what we have worked with during this year that concern local developments. Together we decided to focus on continuing to watch how the public transport locate their traffic in our area (since the last 4 years they have lower the traffic frequents in our area). It´s important for the survival of the different villages that it’s possible to travel with buss to work and also to minimise isolation for those who don’t have car (especially for young people and older). We also desidede to continuing work for a more vary housebuildning (especially houses with departments for rent), to make it possible for older people to sell their houses and hopefully make it possible for young families to move in. It´s important for the local companies, the local stores, the survival of the school. We also decided to start a project to try local car-pooling.
