Edremit Municipality organised a concert of traditional Turkish music in “K?z?lay Senior Care Home” in Edremit to involve the eldest citizens in the celebration of the ELDW. Mayor of Edremit, Kamil Saka, his wife, Günseli Saka, and Deputy Mayor of Chania, Eleftheria Alifieraki, also participated. Before the concert a traditional dessert “A?ure” (Noah’s Pudding) was served to the residents of the senior care centre, prepared with a special sugar-free recipe by the cooks of the Edremit Municipality. Mayor of Edremit who stated that the event held in the senior care centre had a special meaning, said: "This event was a good occasion to come together with senior citizens on such an enjoyable evening.
