Within the scope of the European Local Democracy Week, K?rklareli Mayor Mehmet Siyam KES?MO?LU visited the Istiklal middle school class and informed the children about Democracy and emphasized its importance. Mr. KES?MO?LU; “Democracy is a way of life, if the child learns this in smallness, this consciousness is settled in it and it develops naturally”. At the end of the school visit, our Mayor gave gifts to the students; the Nutuk book from our great leader Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK and special designed pens. (Nutuk; is a detailed documentary, summary and commentary of the first years of the Turkish Republic.)
