Wireacademy Training (Formação Wireacademy)

This training had the partnership of the Wiremaze organization, consultant for Municipalities and Council Parishes on Participatory Budgets. From this partnership, representatives from local governments from the whole country were invited to participate in this training, with the aim to take home important suggestions and pointers to implement in their processes of civic participation. This particular training, that lasted the whole day, focused on what local agents should prevent and avoid in the different stages of the Participatory Budgets. Furthermore, this training also contemplated an allocated slot for the participants to talk about their experiences with these type of participation processes, given that in each territory there are details that need to be adjusted accordingly; this way, one can learn from the cited examples, which ultimately can lead to new ideas or solutions to other projects.
