Game of Europe (Jogo da Europa)
Valongo and Sobrado

Throughout the celebration of the ELDW, there were also 4 sessions of the “Game of Europe” with four different groups of students. This giant version of a board game, based on the history and culture of the European Union, is a simple way for students to learn about these topics. The sessions were also accompanied by a brief explanation of the context of the European Union, and its importance. This game and its rights are held by the Erasmus+ Programme, and in this case, the Portuguese National Agency. The sessions took place on October 28th (Valongo High School), on October 29th (Sobrado School – two sessions with two different classes) and on October 30th (Vallis Longus School).
