DELIVERY OF THE WHITE PAPER RESULTING FROM THE "CONFERENCE ON THE ROLE OF THE FOREIGNER IN THE CITY" TO ROLAND RIES, MAYOR OF STRASBOURG FRIDAY 18 OCTOBER - 7.30PM TO 8.30PM How can we build trust between "citizens" from here and elsewhere? In response to this question, a "White Paper" will be submitted to the Mayor of Strasbourg. The recommendations it contains are the result of the "Focus on the role of the foreigner in the city", organised by the Strasbourg Council of Foreign Residents (CRE). This "White Paper" is the result of a year of reflection in workshops, launched during the European Week of Local Democracy 2018. This "White Paper" was written by an open team of citizens and members of the Council of Foreign Residents. Its aim is to improve the implementation of the values of otherness, equality and interculturality in order to strengthen the relationship of trust between citizens from here and abroad.
