Online interuniversity conference on the topic "Regional electoral system: traditions, characteristics and practice." With the participation of specialists from the administration, an online interuniversity conference was held on the topic "Regional electoral system: traditions, features and practice." The conference touched upon the implementation of modern electoral systems, electronic participation and political and legal culture of voters. As part of a constructive dialogue on innovative mechanisms for civic participation at the local level, the opinions of the expert community, young scientists, municipal officials, and non-profit organizations were presented. The priority areas of work were highlighted: systematic education in the field of electoral rights, the use of crowdsourcing to involve citizens in the procedure for discussing local problems. Meetings with residents, activists, and deputies of the Ryazan Regional and City Duma are held every day in the territories of implementation of local initiatives projects within the framework of the regional program for supporting local initiatives on issues of improvement of residential areas, monitoring the implementation of improvement projects, improving forms of "feedback" with the population, interaction of residents and their communities with local governments.
