Neighborhood councils are useful in the democratic process of the municipality: they allow to relay the decisions taken by the municipality, or on the contrary to question the municipality on subjects that concern the citizens.
A campaign will be carried out to call for new representatives to renew the neighborhood councils and thus revitalize the processes of citizen participation. The candidates will have to present innovative, modern and unifying citizen projects. Interculturality, diversity and environmental themes will have to be integrated in the candidates' presentation programs.
