« Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Croatia » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner association »
The Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Croatia is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-partisan organisation founded on the principle of voluntary associations. It was established by Croatian municipalities in 2002 with the purpose of promoting and protecting their common interests. In 2014, the Association counts 281 municipalities from all 20 counties.
