Butterfly Festival 2023

Organized since 2008, the Butterfly Festival will be held in Dilek Sabancı Park on the 4th June thanks to the cooperation between the District 2420 International Rotaract Representative and Beşiktaş Municipality. The festival starting with the “Break Your Cocoons and Fly” slogan, invites people of all ages to Dilek Sabancı Park to release butterflies into nature for the 13th time. With more than a thousand guests expected, the festival will also host the children and families affected by the earthquake taken place on 6th February at the epicentre of Kahramanmaraş. Taking place every spring, Butterfly Festival brings together disadvantaged children for a range of entertaining activities, stage plays, arts and crafts workshops, music, dancing, fun games, and other activities. The festival, aiming to bring together disabled children and their families with non-disabled individuals, is suitable for the participation of all disabled people. All our neighbours are also invited.
